英語の「in office」「in the office」「at the office」の違い

通常、私たちはin the officeまたはat the office（定冠詞に注意）と言います。「in」という前置詞は、「I am in the office」という文で、オフィスが部屋であり、その部屋の中にいることを示唆しています。一方、「at」という言葉は、一般的な位置の概念を表し、「at work」としばしば交換可能です。要約すると:
I am in my/the office. = My office is a room and I am in that room.
I am at my/the office. = I am somewhere near my office or in it; I am at work.
