英语中“help do”“help to do”“help doing”的正确用法

在英语中，我们可以使用“help someone do something”结构，也可以使用“help someone to do something”结构。没有“to”的形式在日常口语中比有“to”的形式更常见（尤其是在美式英语中），但在书写时两种形式都常用：

He helped me move to London. (more common)

He helped me to move to London. (less common when speaking)

一些学生尝试结合以-ing结尾的形式，这种形式在其他带有动词“help”的短语中可以找到，但这不正确：

He helped me (to) move to London.

He helped me moving to London.

但有一个非正式短语，我们确实使用“真正”的“help doing”，即“cannot help doing”。如果某人“cannot help doing something”，意味着他们无法抑制做某事的冲动。例如：

I can't help thinking about her constantly = 我必须不断地想她。我无法停止想她。

这个习语的意思与“cannot help but do”相同——我们也可以说“I cannot help but think about her constantly”。
