1. the unique characteristics that define an individual or group as distinct from others
   စာရင်းသွင်းပါ ဥပမာဝါကျများ၏ ဘာသာပြန်ချက်များနှင့် တစ်လုံးချင်းစီ၏ အဓိပ္ပါယ်ဖွင့်ဆိုချက်များကို ကြည့်ရှုရန်။

   The identity of these two samples required laboratory testing.
3. the persona or facade that a person presents to others
   He assumed a false identity to escape from the police.

   The identity function in programming simply returns the value that was passed as an argument.
