2 Kindergarten classroom objects and materials

This section covers common items found in a kindergarten classroom. Note that the word kindergarten in the US often refers just to the last year of nursery school, whereas in the UK, it is synonymous with nursery school.

crayon – a colored wax stick used for drawing.

colored pencil – a pencil with a colored core used for drawing and coloring.

scissors – tool with two blades used for cutting paper.

glue stick – solid adhesive in a tube used to stick things together.

paintbrush – tool with bristles used for painting.

calculator – device used for mathematical calculations.

clipboard – board with a clip at the top for holding papers.
